Femi Oluwaniyi

(Partner – Tax and Advisory Services)

Femi is a Partner with the firm. He holds a Higher National Diploma in Accountancy and a master’s degree in public administration. He is a Fellow of both the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and the Chartered Institute of Taxation in Nigeria (CITN). He is also an Associate member of the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers of Nigeria (CIS).

Having qualified as a Charted Accountant in 1987, he joined the Federal Inland Revenue Service(FIRS) in 1994 after a stint of about 7 years with the Private Sector. He rose through the ranks and all the critical areas of tax administration to become the Coordinating Director in charge of the Tax Operations Group (TOG) which superintended over about 80% of FIRS workforce and over 200 tax offices nationwide until his retirement in July 2021.

Femi has attended training programmes both locally and abroad, including the Lagos Business School’s Leadership Development Programme, Her Majesty’s Revenue & Customs (HMRC)’s Advancing Management Potentials (AMP) in the United Kingdom, and the Canadian Revenue Authority, just to mention a few.

His experience includes tax planning, regulatory compliance, and advisory services specifically as they relate to the Financial Services Industry. Presently, He works on several Tax engagements in the firm.
